 SMS Text Messages For Results

Please note that we now send SMS text messages to patients for some Pathology results.

Please note that blood tests at Nene Park can be taken up to 15:30pm.

Repeat Prescriptions

If you take medication on a long-term basis, you can order your repeat prescription in one of the following ways:

  • You can use electronic prescriptions and you can nominate any participating pharmacy to receive these for you.
  • Bring the completed request slip to the surgery, or post through the letter box (staff entrance) if we are closed
  • Send the completed request slip in with a stamped addressed envelope
  • Fax the slip to the surgery.
  • Arrange for your regular pharmacist to reorder on your behalf
  • Request online by clicking here
  • Request via email by clicking here
  • Use another online pharmacy like NHA Pharmacy, Boots or Pharmacy2u.

 Please note the following:

  • Your prescription will be available for you to pick up 48 hours (two working days, excluding bank holidays and weekends) after the request has been received by the practice.
  • If a hospital consultant has given you an advice slip for an urgent prescription it will be issued by the hospital pharmacy.
  • If a hospital consultant has given you an advice slip for a non-urgent prescription it can take up to 5 days to process. This is clearly stated on the front of the slip.
  • Due to the potential for error we cannot take repeat prescription requests over the telephone.
  • If you are going on holiday and will require additional supplies of your repeat medication that you should request these at least a week before your holiday. 
  • if you need an increased issue NHS rules state that you can order up to 3 months worth of medicines once within a 12 month period.
