Repeat Prescriptions

If you take medication on a long-term basis, you can order repeats in one of the following ways:

  • You can use electronic prescriptions and you can nominate any participating pharmacy to receive these for you.
  • Bring the completed request slip to the surgery, or post through the letter box (staff entrance) if we are closed
  • Send the completed request slip in with a stamped addressed envelope
  • Arrange for your regular pharmacist to reorder on your behalf
  • Request online by clicking here
  • Request via email by clicking here
  • Use another online pharmacy like NHA Pharmacy, Boots or Pharmacy2u.

Please note the following:

  • Your prescription will be available for you to pick up in 48 hours (two working days, excluding bank holidays and weekends).
  • If a hospital consultant has requested a non-urgent prescription it will take two working days to process.
  • Due to the potential for error we cannot take repeat prescription requests over the telephone.
  • If you are going on holiday and will require additional supplies of your repeat medication that you should request these at least five working days prior to your expected date of departure.

Repeat Dispensing

If you are taking certain medications on a regular basis you may be eligible for inclusion in the repeat dispensing system which allows prescriptions to be automatically dispensed each month at a chosen pharmacy. If this service is of interest to you please ask your pharmacist for additional information & about the Pharmacy nomination Process. You can also request a signup form from our reception staff.
